Andre Boiser

With over 25 years of experience in engineering consulting and construction, I've had the privilege of working on various projects, including residential, commercial, railway, and wastewater treatment in different countries like the Middle East, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. It's been an amazing journey! I hold a Master of Engineering Studies in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I'm proud to be a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand for over 10 years.

Throughout my career, I've been involved in numerous structural assessment and design projects. Managing construction projects is my passion, where I handle tasks like planning, resource allocation, communication, and site supervision. I'm proud to be recognized as a leader in new process design, system development, and creative problem-solving. I also have a strong background in business start-up and management, including operational and financial performance.

A highlight of my career was serving as a member of the Structural Engineering Panel for the New Zealand Fire Service from 2014 to 2017. I also played a significant role in drafting technical guidelines and processes for the EQR Technical Hub. Over the years, I've gained extensive knowledge in operations and management, providing technical guidance on topics like earthquake assessment, structural design approach, practicality and constructability, territorial authority requirements, New Zealand Building Code, and compliance guidelines.

Currently, I'm privileged to hold the position of Senior Structural Engineer and Managing Director at FIL Engineers. I have the pleasure of assisting developers, building owners, and architects in achieving their goals. I'm also the proud owner of Fil-Invest Development, where I do my own residential development projects and provide additional resources and services to larger companies.
